Earn as You Learn – How about a career in Pest Management?
Abate Pest Management, has commenced its recruitment for two new trainees to join their very own tailored internal ‘apprenticeship’ scheme which commences in January 2020.
There is currently no official government backed recognised apprenticeship scheme for pest control, so Abate has designed one themselves. The programme consists of a two year training scheme where individuals will gain industry recognised qualifications including a Level 2 Award in Pest Management. In addition, learning will include workplace skills, health and safety, food safety, customer service, Environmental, Legislation and aspects of how technology plays a part in the industry.
Jon Blake MD of Abate Pest Management said, “We are very excited to launch this new scheme. Pest control or Pest Management as I like to call it, covers a huge variety of different subjects. There are mountains of different legislations and processes and we are on top of our game when it comes to service delivery. The environment and nature play a big part of what we do and how we do it. Hopefully this will be a big opportunity for a couple of individuals to earn and learn, in an industry which is often seen as someone that just deals with rats and mice, which is so far from the opposite.”
Interested candidates can apply by sending their CV to Jill Blake at firstname.lastname@example.org. Closing date midday 20/12/2019.
